PV Technicians

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled PV Technician to join our team at SPIE Oil & Gas Services Middle East LLC. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in plant maintenance on high voltage substations, switchboards, motors, and uninterruptible power supplies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repair tasks on high voltage substations, switchboards, and motors.
• Operate and maintain uninterruptible power supplies, thyristor rectifiers, and general plant electrical utilities.
• Work with PLCs, HVAC, instrumentation, and computer-based man-machine interfaces.
• Switch and operate plant equipment at 1500V DC, 33kV, and 220 kV.
• Perform numerical relay protection, transformer maintenance, MV and HV cable jointing and repair, vacuum breaker maintenance, MV/LV motor maintenance, and operation and maintenance of MV/LV motors.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in plant maintenance on high voltage substations, switchboards, motors, and uninterruptible power supplies.
• Experience with PLCs, HVAC, instrumentation, and computer-based man-machine interfaces.
• Switching and operating experience on plant equipment at 1500V DC, 33kV, and 220 kV.
• Computer literacy and familiarity with MS Office 2000 packages.
• Experience in solar power plant maintenance above 100 MWp.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with numerical relay protection, transformer maintenance, MV and HV cable jointing and repair, vacuum breaker maintenance, MV/LV motor maintenance, and operation and maintenance of MV/LV motors.
