Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Optometrist to join our team at Park Hyatt, where you will play a critical role in providing exceptional visual healthcare services to our patients.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and managing complex eye conditions, developing personalized treatment plans, and educating patients on effective management and recovery techniques.

Key Responsibilities

1. Patient Assessments

You will conduct comprehensive eye examinations, diagnose eye conditions, and develop customized treatment plans to address complex visual presentations arising from various clinical conditions.

As a primary eye care practitioner, you will provide routine eye exams, refraction, fitting, and dispensing of corrective lenses, as well as perform ophthalmic diagnostic tests and rehabilitate conditions of the visual system.

You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop goal-oriented, evidence-based treatment plans, ensuring seamless care coordination and optimal patient outcomes.

You will educate patients on effective self-management techniques, provide clear explanations of their conditions and treatment options, and empower them to take control of their eye health.

You will maintain and expand your knowledge and skills through ongoing learning activities, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in optometry and vision care.

You will work closely with colleagues, including physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals, to ensure seamless care coordination and achieve shared goals.

You will adhere to departmental policies, procedures, and guidelines, maintaining accurate records, and participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.

Requirements

• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in the field of Optometry, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A valid license to practice Optometry in Qatar, with a strong understanding of local laws and regulations governing the scope of practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations and multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of the organization.
