Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage diverse projects, ranging from small to large-scale, aligning with their unique complexity and scope requirements.
  • Provide regular updates on project progress to facilities leadership, incorporating changes as guided.
  • Develop comprehensive progress reports, including key performance metrics, to inform stakeholders.
  • Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from conception and design through execution, handover, and post-project evaluation.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and lead consultant/contractor/vendor selection processes.
  • Develop detailed design briefs by integrating input from various departments and providing technical expertise.
  • Work closely with the QF Capital Project Division to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Conduct project kick-off meetings to review schedules, method statements, risk assessments, and permits.
  • Arrange follow-up meetings to monitor progress against plans and milestones.
  • Supervise on-site conditions, facilitate issue resolution, and coordinate logistical arrangements.
  • Negotiate project terms and mitigate risks to WCM-Q operations, costs, safety, security, and regulatory compliance.
  • Assess project variances, gather performance metrics, and implement adjustments to maintain alignment with objectives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering, facilities management, or general environment health and safety, with 7-8 years of relevant experience.
  • Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner) is required.
  • Previous experience in research, scientific, or healthcare settings is preferred.
