About This Role

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Procurement/Supply Chain Lead to join our team. As a key member, you will oversee all procurement and supply chain activities for our fast food chain franchise in Qatar. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure efficient sourcing, purchasing, and delivery of goods while maintaining quality, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to brand standards.

Your Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement procurement strategies, policies, and procedures to support the franchise's operational requirements while aligning with the brand's guidelines.
  2. Source, select, and onboard suppliers, negotiating favorable terms, pricing, and contractual agreements to optimize cost and quality.
  3. Collaborate with the brand's headquarters and franchise management to align on procurement objectives, supplier selection, and product specifications.
  4. Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and assess market trends to ensure competitive advantage.
  5. Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including purchase requisitions, supplier evaluation, negotiation, purchase orders, and delivery tracking.
  6. Monitor and forecast inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock availability while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
  7. Cross-functional collaboration is essential; work closely with Operations, Finance, and Quality Assurance teams to resolve any supply-related issues.
  8. Implement and maintain a supplier performance evaluation system, regularly reviewing supplier performance, quality, and service levels.
  9. Ensure compliance with local regulations, including product quality standards, import/export requirements, and documentation.
  10. Optimize logistics and distribution processes, coordinating with transportation providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
  11. Analyze procurement data, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement initiatives to improve overall procurement efficiency.
  12. Build strong relationships with suppliers, fostering strategic partnerships and conducting periodic supplier performance reviews.
  13. Stay updated on industry trends and innovations, recommending process improvements and implementing best practices in procurement and supply chain management.
