Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize hydrological and hydraulic modeling to inform design decisions and assess drainage impacts.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement innovative drainage systems.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports, design calculations, and documentation for project submissions.
  • Review and provide feedback on design drawings and specifications related to drainage and sewer systems.
  • Lead junior engineers and technical staff in best practices for design and engineering.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to address project requirements.
  • Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes relevant to surface water management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
  • 10+ years of experience in surface water drainage engineering, preferably in the Middle East.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) or Chartered Engineer (CEng) license preferred.
  • Proficient in SewerCAD, Civil 3D, InfoWorks, and other relevant engineering software.
  • Strong understanding of local drainage design standards and regulations in the Middle East.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects.
