Job Overview

The University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST) invites applications for a Research Associate position to work on an Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) project. The successful candidate will be part of the Applied Research, Innovation and Economic Development Directorate.

The primary goal of this project is to improve traffic sustainability, resilience, robustness, and safety on roads through connected vehicles. Our research team is looking for a highly motivated individual with expertise in communication engineering subfields and experience in path-planning algorithms.

As a Research Associate, you will be responsible for implementing the project, which involves developing intelligent technologies to deal with communication link failures and their impact on ITS. You will also perform required simulations, manuscript writing, and preparing project reports. Additionally, you will interact with researchers and stakeholders from local and international collaborators and institutions.

Responsibilities
