We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Qatar Airways. As an Aircraft Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality maintenance services to support the operational requirements of our aircraft.
Key Responsibilities- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on avionics systems, including navigation, communication, and electronic flight control systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose avionics system issues and malfunctions.
- Repair or replace faulty avionics components, such as transponders, radios, and radar systems.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Document all maintenance and repair work in accordance with industry regulations.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in avionics technology and attend training as needed.
- Ensure that all work is conducted safely and efficiently to minimize aircraft downtime.
- Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance or Trade or vocational aircraft maintenance qualification or Degree (B.Eng., BSc) or equivalent in aircraft engineering with minimum 5 Years Aircraft Maintenance experience (including apprenticeship).
- Relevant work experience in avionics maintenance, ideally with a focus on the specific type of aircraft or avionics systems Qatar Airways operates.
- Strong understanding of avionics systems, electronics, and aircraft maintenance practices is essential.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex avionics system issues is crucial.
- Familiarity with avionics tools and equipment is necessary for performing maintenance tasks.
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and procedures is a must.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a maintenance team is important for coordinating efforts and ensuring aircraft are serviced efficiently.
- Excellent Communication Skills (Verbal & Written English).
