Job Summary

Canonical is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Computing Software Developer to join our team. As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based systems and applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop cloud-based systems and applications using cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Develop and deploy scalable, secure, and highly available cloud-based systems and applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize cloud-based projects and initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain cloud-based infrastructure, including virtual machines, containers, and serverless computing.
  • Ensure compliance with cloud security and governance policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in cloud computing, software development, and engineering.
  • Proficiency in cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with containerization, serverless computing, and DevOps practices.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security, governance, and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
