Job Description

**Project Engineering Manager**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineering Manager to join our team at Brunel Qatar. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects from initiation to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Scope and Requirements: Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of project scope, technical requirements, quality and safety standards, and applicable regulations.
  • Engineering Deliverables: Oversee the implementation of project requirements, ensuring timely delivery of engineering, quality, and schedule objectives.
  • Engineering Coordination: Engage and coordinate engineering activities across multiple disciplines, including process, structural, electrical, mechanical, and piping, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Procedure Development and Review: Develop, review, and approve procedures, design inputs, design reviews, model reviews, and risk assessments to support project delivery schedules and interfaces with other projects and operations.
  • Equipment Package Delivery: Ensure the delivery of equipment packages, including novated items, in compliance with technical specifications and quality standards, and in accordance with contractual delivery dates.
  • Risk and Issue Management: Identify, mitigate, and resolve risks and issues associated with equipment and material package delivery, in close collaboration with contractors and project teams.
  • Progress Reporting: Provide regular progress reports to management, highlighting engineering surveillance and close-out of engineering issues, and ensuring project deliverables are achieved in accordance with project milestones.
  • Documentation Review: Review and comment on EPC contractor and supplier documentation in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with company requirements, standards, and specifications.
  • Risk Register Management: Develop and maintain the project risk register, and steward the implementation of mitigation actions, with regular reporting and meetings in close collaboration with the LP and Risk Coordinator.
  • Issue Closure: Close out multi-disciplinary engineering-related issues in collaboration with the Engineering Manager, and assist in closing cross-project technical and commercial issues as requested to support project milestones.
  • Design Reviews and Workshops: Participate in design reviews, technical workshops, constructability reviews, HAZID/HAZOP, risk assessments, readiness reviews, and pre-shut-down reviews as required.
