About the Role

  • We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation Engineering Specialist to join our team.

As an I&C Engineer with a focus on instrumentation, you will play a key role in implementing engineering strategies that support our division's goals and objectives. Your expertise will be crucial in providing project support, participating in instrumentation audits, risk assessments, technology evaluations, and self-assessments. Additionally, you will advise on instrumentation sustainment activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, test, and install instrumentation systems, managing risks associated with live integration of critical systems and ensuring network segregation.
  • Conduct research, engineering, and navigate technical problems in consultation with the Contractor.
  • Provide technical and strategic day-to-day management and coordination of instrumentation projects.
  • Supervise the work of relevant discipline engineers and ensure quality and standards are maintained.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science majoring in Engineering in the area of specialization from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of 8 years of working experience in the instrumentation environment as an I&C Engineer.
  • Advanced knowledge of instrumentation systems and architecture, including ICS equipment (HMI s, RTU s, PLC s, Controllers, etc.).
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to instrumentation.
  • Proficiency in networking concepts, vulnerability scanning, firewalls, VPNs, and digital certificates.
  • Certifications such as GICSP (Global Industrial Cybersecurity Professional), CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert), and CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) are preferred.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to comprehend, coordinate, and manage multiple projects.
  • Attention to detail and a strong grasp of analytical concepts.
