Primary Responsibilities
  • Policy Issuance:
  • Develop and disseminate individual and group quotations, including tenders, to clients.
  • Issue policies, cards, supporting documents, and invoices.
  • Process policy endorsements (additions, deletions, and amendments) and validate covered individuals' eligibility.
  • Underwrite quotes and secure approval from the senior underwriter or Head of Department.
  • Produce and disseminate production reports and manage the distribution of issued policies and endorsements.
  • Evaluate claims eligibility based on plan benefits.
  • Handle and process medical claims for providers and primary insured/claimants.

Financial Management:

  • Manage client invoices, process premiums, and resolve billing disputes.
  • Monitor account aging and follow up with policyholders regarding premium payments.
  • Reconcile statement accounts for TPA fees, network claims, and reinsurer dues.

Travel Policy Coordination:

  • Coordinate the issuance of travel insurance through our online partner network (Swan International Assistance).

Qualifications:

  • At least 4-5 years of experience in the insurance industry, with 2 years in medical underwriting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Business, or a medical field.
