Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Composite Repair Team Lead 3rd Shift to join our team at Boeing. As a key member of our composite repair team, you will be responsible for leading a team of technicians in the repair and maintenance of composite materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Machine Setup and Operation: Perform setup and operation of machines used in composite repair and manufacturing processes.
  • Composite Fabrication and Assembly: Fabricate and assemble composite components, including lay-up, bonding, and finishing.
  • Welding and Metal Fabrication: Perform welding and metal fabrication tasks, including setup, operation, and maintenance of welding equipment.
  • Electro-Mechanical Assembly: Assemble and install precision mechanical and electro-mechanical components.
  • Power Plant and Drive Train Repair: Repair, modify, and install various power plants and drive trains.
  • Soldering and Wire Harness Assembly: Perform soldering on electronic and avionics products, and assemble and install wire harnesses and avionics products.
  • Test Preparation and Data Collection: Prepare test articles, fixtures, and data collection devices to perform various tests.
  • Chemical Conversion and Paint Preparation: Perform organic chemical conversion and paint preparation tasks.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in composite repair and manufacturing.
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to lead a team of technicians.
  • Strong knowledge of composite materials and manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
