Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Demi Chef de Partie to join our culinary team at Mandarin Oriental, Doha. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will assist the Chef de Partie in daily duties and oversee responsibilities during their absence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Chef de Partie in preparing ingredients for dishes
  • Ensure mise en place is prepared to the highest quality standards
  • Follow plating guides and presentation images
  • Manage inventory and requisition of ingredients
  • Maintain a clean and sanitized working environment
  • Follow food safety standards and regulations

Requirements

  • High School qualification or equivalent
  • Degree or Higher National Diploma in Hospitality/Culinary arts preferred
  • Experience as a Demi Chef de Partie in a high-volume hotel or free-standing restaurant
  • Minimum of 2 years of culinary experience in a 5-star hotel or free-standing restaurant
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 15 kg
  • Verbal and written communication skills in English
