The role of a Senior Interior Design Specialist at PPL Dynamics involves overseeing the execution and coordination of Design projects in collaboration with the General Manager and/or Project Managers of the fit-out project. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and presenting creative, solution-based plans for customers and projects in the areas of space planning, drafting/CAD, furniture products, color and materials selections, as well as internal graphic and verbal presentations to ensure client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create detailed drawings in AutoCAD and/or other platforms as needed (typicals, furniture plans, 3D modelling etc)
  • Verify design specifications as received from stakeholders.
  • Maintain internal reporting systems, i.e., project files and time sheets etc.
  • Adhere to deadlines of design deliverables.
  • Prepare drawings and supporting documents (with specification) for client/project submission including technical submissions, mood boards and concept designs
  • Identify areas that may require field verification and coordinate actual dimensions with final plan.
  • Inventory existing design and product offerings; incorporate in design plans and specifications as needed.
  • Create sample boards.
  • Revise drawings and specs when required.
  • Space planning to meet the customers requests using standards as applicable.
  • Project meetings with customers when required.
  • Consistent updates to General Manager and Project team

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in the same field
  • Mandatory experience in commercial Fitout projects (Commercial/Retail/F&B)
  • Bachelor's degree in architectural, interior design or related field
