We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Controller to join our team in Qatar on the Shell GTL project.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement data management processes to ensure data quality and integrity.
  2. Lead the execution of tagging and reference data management processes throughout the lifecycle in our Engineering Data Warehouse (EDW).
  3. Collaborate with Portfolio engineers to analyze and formulate requests for clarification and change requests.
  4. Ensure data consistency and completeness across all sources.
  5. Develop and maintain technical references in EDW, including tag-to-document, tag-to-tag, and child tag-to-parent tag relationships.
  6. Conduct user training for Aveva Unified Engineering and AVEVA NET.
  7. Produce key performance indicators (KPIs) per company requirements.
Aveva Engineering Responsibilities:
  1. Setup, configuration, and maintenance of Engineering Data Warehouse (Aveva Unified Engineering).
  2. Execution of Compare & Update tool between Aveva Engineering, Aveva E3D, and Aveva Diagrams.
  3. Design and development of dbviews, technical datasheet entry forms, and data maturity and completeness reports in Aveva Engineering.
  4. Production of reports and/or runs interfaces between data management and engineering applications.
Qualifications:
  1. Project engineering environment and awareness of associated business processes.
  2. Project data control and relevant processes, familiar with data-modelling methodology.
  3. Knowledge of IMIT Scope of Work, Contract Information Specification, Reference Data Library, and DEP Engineering Information Specification.
  4. COMPANY Tagging Philosophy and Specification.
  5. Information aspects of all project DEPs.
  6. Proven experience in Aveva Unified Engineering suite.
  7. Knowledge of Aveva ISM class library management tool.
Experience:
  1. Previous capital project experience.
  2. Previous experience as a Data Controller.
  3. Previous experience managing data through the project lifecycle, including as-building process.
  4. Previous experience working with an Engineering Data Warehouse (EDW).
Leadership and Interpersonal Skills:
  1. Strong team and standalone working mode with minimal micromanagement.
  2. Perfect English and soft skills.
