**About the Role**

In this dynamic position as Highway Maintenance Coordinator at lxbfYeaa, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless execution of our highway maintenance activities in the RMC zone/area.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain processes and procedures that align with industry standards and company expectations.
  • Collaborate with the RMC Procedures and Processes Manager to enhance best practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Participate in the performance measurement of RMC operations, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to data-driven decision-making.
  • Support the Senior RMC Supervisor in managing escalated events or incidents, ensuring timely and effective responses.
  • Be available on call during non-duty hours and actively contribute to major and critical incident response efforts.
  • Raise concerns and risks to the Senior RMC Supervisor for prompt attention and resolution.
  • Develop strong relationships with Incident Support contractors, Zone Framework contractors, Customer Service, Tunnels Control Room Managers, and Road Corridor Management Office teams to drive collaboration and coordination.
  • Support incident management outside regular working hours.
  • Coordinate severe weather response plans, maintaining close communication with the Senior RMC Supervisor on conditions, issues, and actions taken.
  • Design and implement response plans and mitigation strategies for major events, coordinating readiness testing to ensure preparedness.
  • Promote information sharing and coordinated responses with operational partners and stakeholders like the MOI and Emergency Services.
  • Encourage best practice identification and implementation across functions, facilitating knowledge sharing to support policy objectives.
  • Hold regular performance meetings to keep staff and contractors informed about changes and share relevant business performance information.
  • Maintain compliance with Quality, Health and Safety, and Environment Policy and Procedures within the workplace, adhering to new work instructions.

Requirements:**

This role requires a diploma or higher-level qualification in a relevant subject, a current and valid Qatar Driving License, and a minimum of 8 years' secretarial/administration experience. Experience in diary management and multiple task handling is preferred, as well as knowledge of correspondence tracking systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Packages is essential, while ability to communicate verbally and in writing in Arabic is desirable.
