Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and book travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, car rentals, and other travel-related services.
- Provide personalized recommendations and itineraries based on clients' travel preferences and requirements.
- Stay up-to-date on travel trends, destinations, and industry developments.
- Handle client inquiries and provide prompt responses.
- Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate rates and secure bookings.
- Process bookings, payments, and necessary travel documents accurately and efficiently.
- Resolve any issues or complaints that may arise during the travel process.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the company's growth.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Travel Consultant, with expertise in using Amadeus and other GDS systems.
- Previous experience as a Travel Consultant or in a similar role is required.
- In-depth knowledge of travel industry trends, destinations, and travel booking systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong sales and negotiation abilities.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in using computer reservation systems and travel booking software.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
