Job Summary

Amentum is seeking a highly skilled Armament Technician to join our team. As an Armament Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of our equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consistently observe and enforce all safety and security standards during maintenance operations.
  • Respond to emergencies in a timely and effective manner.
  • Perform assigned maintenance tasks in accordance with established technical and quality management directives.
  • Maintain all equipment to maximum serviceable standards, including corrosion control.
  • Recondition, repair, and replace defective or missing parts of equipment.
  • Advise the supervisor of any factors limiting maintenance capability.
  • Coordinate with supply to ensure inventory controls are in place.
  • Verify that storage facilities provide maximum environmental protection for all equipment.
  • Use technical data and documentation in accordance with established procedures.
  • Prepare assets for shipment in accordance with tasking actions.
  • Submit timely and accurate serviceability records.
  • Store tools, replacement bench, and operational stocks in accordance with standards.
  • Inspect and perform minor maintenance on facilities and installed equipment.
  • Maintain assigned vehicles and equipment.
  • Train and supervise staff according to authorized safety and maintenance practices.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in maintenance and technical support, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
