We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Piping Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and at least 8 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry, with 4 years in a project management team role.

The ideal candidate will have excellent written and spoken English skills and be conversant with company, national, and internationally accepted specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform piping engineering activities for projects ensuring that all activities comply with standardized processes and are delivered to the highest standards.
  2. Operate in a technical environment with interface with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  3. Contribute to other multi-disciplinary tasks whilst providing expertise in specialized areas.
  4. Ensure piping engineering activities are conducted in accordance with regulatory requirements, project specifications, and approved variations if any.
  5. Resolve engineering issues that may arise and communicate with the Project Execution Team. Elevate issues to higher levels when necessary.
  6. Develop, update, and amend various policies and procedures related to the Projects Management Department as required in consultation with the Head of Projects Engineering Support and other team members.
  7. Support the engineering team of external organizations and entities appointed representatives to ensure engineering design addresses each company's expectations consistent with the project's objectives.
  8. Evaluate complex tasks and provide appropriate recommendations to management on issues. Provide support to other disciplines and contribute to other multi-disciplinary tasks.
  9. Uphold all Project Philosophies and Procedures and ensure that these are applied to the specification, design, and procurement of piping items.
  10. Ensure compliance with systems and processes including the Project Management System and maintain support and adoption of all processes. Prepare plans and work schedules that ensure effective completion of projects.
  11. Monitor and provide necessary guidance to the FEED, EPC Contractor(s), and all 3rd Party Services throughout the project phases. Ensure the facilities are constructed per the scope, meeting standards and specifications, within the time and project cost approved by the shareholders.
  12. Support other engineers in complex analyses and assignments and provide expertise to ensure completion of activities within schedule.

Work Schedule and Benefits:

  • 8 hours/5 days work schedule.
  • Day rate in USD plus allowance.

  • Qatar.
