Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Brand Communication Executive to support the execution of strategic PR initiatives for our esteemed brands in Qatar. In this role, you will be responsible for managing media relations, crafting compelling communication materials, and assisting in the development of campaigns aimed at enhancing brand visibility and reputation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Media Relations:
  • Build and maintain relationships with local and regional media outlets, journalists, and influencers to ensure effective media engagement.
  • Create PR calendars, press releases, media kits, and other communications materials for key initiatives and brand activities.
  • Coordinate media inquiries and interview requests, providing assistance in responding to media questions and facilitating interviews.
  • Monitor media coverage and track key stories related to our Toyota and Lexus brands.
  1. Brand Promotion:
  • Develop and execute PR campaigns and activations to promote our Toyota and Lexus brands, leveraging both traditional and digital media channels.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to integrate PR strategies into larger brand campaigns.
  • Organize media test drives, press events, product launches, and other activities that contribute to brand promotion.
  1. Corporate Communication:
  • Craft and distribute corporate communication materials, such as press releases, speeches, and internal updates for executive leadership.
  • Ensure alignment and consistency in brand messaging across all communication materials.
  • Support internal communications initiatives that reflect the company's objectives and values.
  1. Media Monitoring & Reporting:
  • Monitor media coverage of our Toyota and Lexus brands and compile reports on sentiment, trends, and overall media presence.
  • Offer recommendations based on media analysis and collaborate with senior team members to optimize PR efforts.
  1. Collaboration & Support:
  • Work closely with the PR Lead and external PR agencies to execute PR campaigns, ensuring they align with overall brand strategies.
  • Provide administrative support for all PR-related activities, including event logistics, scheduling, and tracking deliverables.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 3-5 years of experience in public relations, preferably in the automotive industry or a similar sector.
    • Experience in media relations, drafting press materials, and supporting PR campaigns.
    • Understanding of digital and traditional media channels and how to leverage them for brand promotion.
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
    • Ability to create PR materials, including press releases, media advisories, and social media content.
    • Familiarity with media monitoring tools and basic PR software (e.g., Microsoft Office, media tracking tools).
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
    • Attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Personal Attributes:
    • Proactive and eager to learn in a dynamic, high-performance environment.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with media and other stakeholders.
    • Passion for the automotive industry and a genuine interest in promoting leading brands like Toyota and Lexus.
    • Knowledge of Qatari market dynamics and cultural nuances is a plus, but not required.
