We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join our team in the College of Engineering Technology at the University of Doha for Science and Technology. The successful candidate will work on the development of 3D printed catalytic reaction systems for various applications.

The position is focused on material selection, design, and process development of 3D printed catalytic reaction systems. The successful candidate will be required to lead the research project, industrial collaborations, and dissemination.

Key Research Areas

  • Catalytic reaction systems for hydrogen production, H2S removal, and air purification.
  • Investigation of the effect of different materials and 3D printing technologies on the performance of catalytic reaction systems.
  • Potential of 3D printed reactors for various industrial applications.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • PhD in chemical engineering, Chemistry, material science or related field obtained after 2020.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
  • Fluency in written and spoken Arabic is preferred.

Additional Requirements

  • Experience with CAD software and powder-bed fusion technology.
  • Familiarity with materials characterization techniques such as spectroscopy and microscopy.
