As a key member of our team, you will oversee and manage a team of Tax Examiners, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.

The Role:

  • Develop and implement tax audit plans and strategies in alignment with departmental goals.
  • Conduct audits for various entities (corporations, partnerships, individuals) to assess compliance with tax laws.
  • Review and analyse financial statements, tax returns, and supporting documents to identify tax risks and exposures.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, recommendations, and identified tax liabilities.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on complex tax matters to stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field.
  • Master's degree in Taxation or a professional accounting qualification (CA/CPA) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in tax auditing, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of tax laws, regulations and accounting principles.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
