Senior Refractory Supervisor

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Refractory Supervisor to join our team at AsiaPower. The successful candidate will have a strong background in refractory maintenance and supervision, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate refractory maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and industry standards.
• Develop and implement refractory maintenance plans, including material estimation and stock management.
• Conduct quality control checks during execution, ensuring that all refractory work meets the required standards.
• Interpret engineering drawings and process systems, and provide technical guidance to artisans.
• Deliver toolbox talks and exert disciplinary control over artisans.
• Perform necessary PTW for Work, including Confine Space Entry and Fire Hazard clearance.

Requirements

• Minimum 12 years of experience in Petrochemical, Petroleum Refining, or Oil & Gas industry maintenance, with at least 5 years in a Refractory Supervisor position.
• API-936 qualification and a valid Qatari Driving license.
• Strong understanding of HSE issues and defensive driving training.
• Ability to estimate refractory material and maintain minimum stock levels.
