Apex Health is seeking an exceptional Optometrist to join our team in Qatar. As a highly specialist and autonomous practitioner, you will provide holistic assessment through a patient-centered model of care.

You will utilize a broad range of equipment, assessment techniques, and education to deliver exceptional visual healthcare. Based in the OPD and supporting a number of Ophthalmology colleagues, you will demonstrate critical thinking and the ability to perform as a valuable member of the multi-disciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clinical Practice: You will practice clear, concise, and timely documentation of clinical records, including initial assessment, re-evaluation, treatment sessions, discharge planning, referral letters, and reports using various digital applications and IT systems.
  • Equipment Maintenance: You will take responsibility for health safety and security and day-to-day maintenance of equipment and working environment, reporting issues via appropriate channels.
  • Infection Control: You will maintain appropriate infection control practices and training to maintain the safety of patients and colleagues.
  • Audit and Quality: You will undertake clinical and non-clinical audit tasks, as assigned, aimed at informing facility leadership on performance in critical areas.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Science or any related field
  • Diploma in Science or any related technical certificates
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in the field of Optometry (post-graduation required)
