We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Specialist to join our Subsea Diving team at MiLaha. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of project execution, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining the highest standards of quality, health, safety, and environmental (QHSE) compliance.
Main Responsibilities- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, delegating tasks and reporting progress to Project Managers.
- Develop and present design solutions at internal and customer meetings, ensuring alignment with contractual commitments and corporate policies.
- Prepare and review project documentation, including method statements, procedures, and schedules, to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Liaise with Engineering and Construction Department personnel to ensure project documentation is drafted, reviewed, and issued as required.
- Determine project timelines and formulate strategies to ensure successful project execution.
- Review equipment specifications, converse with suppliers, and monitor pricing and cost to ensure timely delivery and optimal resource utilization.
- Monitor mobilization of personnel and equipment, ensuring compliance with mobilization plans and QHSE standards.
- Attend project client meetings, prepare draft and final reports, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Review project reports and provide comments accordingly.
- Ensure safe operations and minimize environmental impact by complying with occupational QHSE standards.
- Prepare and review tender method statements and schedules to support the tender team.
- Liaise with third-party suppliers and vendors to identify and source equipment and resources to support technical execution of the tender.
- Oversee the compilation of technical and commercial sections of the tender, ensuring in-house specifications meet tender/contract specifications.
- Ensure tender submission includes all required and relevant technical, QHSE, and commercial documentation.
- Assist in reviewing and ensuring effective maintenance and utilization of operation reports to effectively manage future projects, operations, medical examinations, and training courses.
- Help maintain a library of equipment certification, including lifting and rigging equipment, to ensure proper use and maintenance.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management, with experience in subsea diving operations and a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
