HSW Manager

About the Role:

Mace Consult is seeking an experienced Health, Safety, and Wellbeing (HSW) Manager to lead our Qatar project. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, cost, programme, sustainability, and project compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advocate for Mace's value of Safety First and lead the implementation of exceptional safety standards.
• Develop and maintain advanced technical expertise in local Health and Safety rules and regulations.
• Champion a diverse and inclusive working environment and prioritize the wellbeing of team members.
• Manage the delivery of key assignments and defined business areas, providing strategic direction and monitoring progress.
• Prepare contract documents, warranties, bonds, and licenses to achieve formal execution.
• Develop and present costing associated with design changes, contract awards, construction activities, and client charges.
• Collaborate towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and identify opportunities for carbon emissions reduction.

Requirements:

• Advanced technical expertise in local Health and Safety rules and regulations.
• Proven track record of leading and maintaining exceptional safety standards.
• Strong understanding of the importance of wellbeing and diversity in the workplace.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively towards a common goal.
