Job Description

This Field Service Representative role involves handling customer service assignments, including on-site preventive maintenance and inspection service work. The successful candidate will have strong technical skills and excellent problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Comply with Solar and customer HSSE policies and procedures.
  • Meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Maintain compliance with Solar Engineering specifications and best practices.
  • Recognize electrical/mechanical abnormalities and potential safety problems.
  • Provide daily reports to the relevant manager.
  • Accurately report and update all equipment histories.
  • Utilize sound judgment when analyzing problems.
  • Ensure maintenance services or installation support align with specifications.

Requirements

The incumbent will have served a recognized apprenticeship or equivalent training and possess a technical qualification (e.g., Degree, HNC/HND, ONC, C&G, Aviation Engineer's license, Marine Engineers Certificate) with 3–5 years of experience in a related industry. Experience in an overseas/offshore environment is essential, along with familiarity with rotating equipment and PLC systems.
