About the Role:

Qatar Airways is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Technical Engineering team as Manager Investigations Compliance & Safety. This is an exciting opportunity to lead technical investigations related to accidents, incidents, and other safety-related events.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage all technical investigations to identify root causes and prevent recurrences.
  2. Ensure compliance with QCAA/EASA regulations and IOSA requirements.
  3. Lead efficient investigations to minimize impact on cost and company image.
  4. Follow up on implementation of investigation recommendations to enhance safety and minimize costs.
  5. Review technical occurrences and safety-related queries from other sections or departments.
  6. Provide feedback on investigation issues to ensure regulatory and customer requirements are met.

Requirements:

  1. Relevant college or university qualification to at least Bachelor's level.
  2. ICAO Type II License and at least 10 years of experience in Civil Aviation Authority/Continuing Airworthiness/Quality Assurance Functions.
  3. Training on QCAA/EASA regulations and accident/incident investigations.
  4. Experience in investigations and occurrences management within Continuing Airworthiness/Maintenance organization.
  5. 3 years as an internal/certified auditor.
