Job Summary:

Airswift is a leading global manpower provider specializing in the energy, infrastructure, and IT sectors. We are working with our client in Qatar to source a highly skilled OLCM Engineer - Instrumentation and Control Specialist for a 3-year residential contract.

Job Purpose:

  • To provide technical and engineering support in the Maintenance department for all Expansion projects, reviewing and identifying two years and lifecycle spares required for each equipment in project scope, recommending quantities, optimizing spares within/across projects, and carrying out obsolescence and life cycle management activities to enhance reliability with cost efficiency.
  • To review Recommended Spare Parts lists (RSPL) and recommend spare parts for all new projects.
  • To review all Master Data Governance (MDG) requests (Material creation, change, deletion, and obsolete) through SAP to ensure optimum inventory and quality.
  • To review existing material inventory stock levels to ensure optimum quantity in warehouse and minimize financial exposure.
  • To develop and review policies and procedures relevant to Obsolescence and life cycle management.

Qualification and Experience:

  • 6 years of experience in an Oil and Gas environment.
  • Maintenance experience on Instrumentation and Control Equipment such as Control valves, Control System, Transmitters, Switches, Gauges, Analyzers, Telecom, etc.
