GIS Technician Position

We are seeking a highly skilled GIS Technician to support our team of experienced land surveyors. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting field surveys, operating survey instruments, and providing CAD data for updating master drawings and GIS.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct site visits and gather data using survey instruments.
  • Collaborate with the Land Surveyor to ensure accurate data collection and processing.
  • Provide regular updates on project progress and any challenges encountered.
  • Maintain and calibrate survey equipment to ensure accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain accurate maps and GIS systems.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Secondary education (12 years) and a diploma in land surveying or related field.
  • Proven experience in land surveying, preferably in the oil and gas sector.
  • Highly skilled in operating Total Station and/or GPS equipment.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and AutoCAD software.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Valid driver's license required.
