About The Role

In this position, you will serve as a technical subject matter expert, pushing technologies to their limits. You will work with our cross-functional teams to design and build the next generation of applications, taking a mobile-first approach where business demands it, while adhering to standard coding practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect, design, and develop high-quality, deployable, and maintainable mission-critical applications with unit test cases, meeting given specifications, and create documentation, sequence diagrams, and other low-level design artifacts.
  • Perform code analysis, peer reviews, requirements analysis, software reviews, system risk analysis, and software reliability analysis, ensuring the developed code covers non-functional requirements, including performance, security, auditing, and integrity.
  • Resolve production incidents or defects as needed and proactively identify potential issues before they appear in the production environment, contributing to root cause analysis.
  • Drive high performance and accountability for own deliverables, work well within a team, and always work for team success by supporting other team members constructively, acting on feedback, and identifying challenging opportunities that enhance career growth.
  • Contribute to defining secure coding standards and work in a team to follow best practices to ensure compliance with standards, quality, scalability, and security of deliverables.
  • You will interact with various stakeholders and work with cross-functional teams across the design, coding, testing, production, deployment, and third-party product implementation processes.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's Degree or Honors in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Sciences, or Equivalent, with 8 years of experience. You should have 5 years of experience in technical solution design for large Java application development, very strong hands-on experience in Java-based technologies like Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and other Cloud-native Java frameworks, strong hands-on experience in middleware technologies using IBM MQ/Kafka frameworks, good understanding of JVM concepts, very good hands-on experience in Cloud technologies like Azure/GCP and AKS, experience in DevOps, DevSecOps methodologies, and software development lifecycle, expertise in large and critical system product production support and problem-solving, must have good analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and solve problems, knowledge in RDBMS concepts, excellent interpersonal communication and organization skills, and airline domain experience will be an added advantage.
