Key Responsibilities:

- Optimize Resource Allocation: Calculate order lead times, optimize resource allocation strategies, and report on production capacity to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Conduct Project Reviews: Regularly review project progress, identify potential risks, and proactively address them to ensure project success.
- Implement Advanced Scheduling Techniques: Utilize SAP to implement advanced scheduling techniques, enhancing efficiency and improving planning processes.
- Ensure Quality and Compliance: Ensure that technical specifications, quality plans, and customer requirements are effectively incorporated into the planning process, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Cost Estimation and Control: Calculate accurate cost estimates for projects, monitor actual costs, and initiate cost improvement projects to optimize resource utilization and minimize waste.
- Project Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed project documentation, including plans, schedules, resource allocations, and reports, to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing: Work closely with the sales team to incorporate forecasts into material planning, provide mentorship and training to junior planning engineers, and contribute to the company's continuous learning culture.
- Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Compliance: Ensure HSE compliance and collaborate with the HSE team to address and mitigate project-related safety concerns.
Requirements:
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, project management, or a related field, with 8-12 years of experience in planning roles, including 5 years in the oil and gas equipment manufacturing and servicing industry.
- Technical Skills: Good understanding of project accounting and cost control processes, planning and strategic thinking skills, excellent leadership and mentorship abilities, excellent verbal and written communication skills, in-depth knowledge of engineering principles, industry standards, and manufacturing processes, and commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
- SAP Experience: Extensive SAP experience, including Super User level, to ensure seamless integration with the company's existing systems and processes.
