The Role

We are looking for a seasoned AML/CFT Policy Director to lead our efforts in developing and implementing effective anti-money laundering and combating financing of terrorism policies. As a key member of our compliance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the bank's adherence to local and international regulations, as well as identifying areas for improvement and developing strategic plans to address them.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement AML/CFT policies and procedures that meet international standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigating identified risks.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of AML/CFT policies and procedures.
  • Provide training and support to staff members on AML/CFT policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in law, finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in compliance roles within the banking or financial services sector.
  • Strong understanding of local and international regulatory frameworks, including AML, KYC, FATCA, and MiFID II within the QFCRA framework.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
