Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AC Technician to join our team at TIVOLI GROUP. As an AC Technician, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing temperature and air quality control systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical and mechanical refrigeration systems, including freezers, fridges, ice makers, fan coil units, chillers, and other equipment.
  • Maintain preventively all air-conditioning and refrigeration systems within the hotel.
  • Check the performance of refrigeration systems and components, and verify door closing systems on walk-in coolers and freezers.
  • Check and maintain defrosting systems and automation of ice makers, and work on maintenance requests from all departments.
  • Ensure routine cleaning of fan coil units and air-handling unit filters, and check the performance of air-conditioning and chill water systems.
  • Cooperate with engineering colleagues to detect failures of air-conditioning and refrigeration systems, and follow country technical regulations and safety standards.
  • Overhaul air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment and systems, and check refrigeration and oil levels, and control major repairs.
  • Cooperate with the Engineering Storekeeper on the purchase of parts, and carry out all works as per the country technical regulations and safety standards.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma: Required; vocational training or certification in HVAC technology is preferred.
  • Previous Experience: 2-5 years in HVAC installation and repair, ideally in commercial or residential settings.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair techniques.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose issues quickly and implement effective solutions.
  • Time Management: Proficient in prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-Oriented: Focus on accuracy and quality in work.
  • Strong Communicator: Effective verbal communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
  • Customer Service Orientation: Commitment to providing high-quality service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Familiarity with Tools and Equipment: Proficient in using HVAC tools and diagnostic equipment.
  • Basic Computer Skills: Ability to use maintenance tracking software and reporting tools.
  • Certification: EPA certification for handling refrigerants is often required.
  • Knowledge of Safety Regulations: Understanding of health and safety practices related to HVAC work.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
