Job Overview

Wood seeks an experienced Project Commercial Lead (Post Award) to join its team. The selected candidate will work closely with the Project Management team to provide commercial support post award.

The primary responsibilities include developing the contracting strategy, identifying and prequalifying potential subcontractors, overseeing the development of ITB packages, and managing changes in accordance with the contracted scope of services.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support the Project Management team in providing commercial guidance
  • Develop and implement effective contracting strategies
  • Manage ITB packages and subcontractor relationships
  • Oversee change management processes
Key Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years of commercial experience, including 5 years in a similar role
  • Proven track record in cost control and financial management
  • Industry knowledge and experience with contracting concepts and principles
  • Commercial administration and procedure expertise
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Familiarity with various contracting strategies and their implications
  • Tendering experience for large, complex contracts and licensor technology packages
  • Project commercial issue management in oil and gas, petrochemicals, renewable energy, and energy transition environments
  • Understanding of engineering services head contract terms
