We are seeking an experienced Electrical Corrosion Prevention Specialist to join our team. This is a full-time position responsible for performing CIPS & DCVG Surveys on pipelines in the Gas Operations network.

The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Mechanical / Chemical / Electrical Engineering with 10 years of experience, or a Graduate in Chemical / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering with 5 years of experience from a reputed institute.

Cathodic Protection Technicians shall be qualified to NACE CP Technician (CP2) level (or equivalent).

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Carry out surveys along pipeline routes on the GDS as part of routine duties.
  2. Create reports for the surveys including interpretation of results and comments for remedial action.
  3. Maintain knowledge of cathodic protection systems and best practices.
  4. Develop and implement effective corrosion control strategies.
Requirements

Qualifications:

Diploma in Mechanical / Chemical / Electrical Engineering with 10 years of experience.

Graduate in Chemical / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering with 5 years of experience.

Cathodic Protection Technicians shall be qualified to NACE CP Technician (CP2) level (or equivalent).

Experience:

At least 10 years of relevant experience for Diploma holders and five years for Graduates.

Ability to pass QatarEnergy Permit to Work system and Consolidated Permit to Work system.

Age shall be not less than 30 years and not more than 45 years.
