Job Summary

Management Solutions International (MSI) is seeking a highly skilled Reverse Osmosis RO Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective startup and shutdown of our Reverse Osmosis plant equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures and work instructions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Operate and Monitor the RO Plant: Operate and monitor the Ultrafiltration & Reverse Osmosis Plant to produce optimum quality of permeate water as per the design / requirement through dedicated HMI / SCADA systems.
  2. Maintain and Operate Treatment Plant Systems: Maintain and operate the treatment plant systems with required chemical treatment process. Conduct chemical analysis using portable meter for cross verification of installed chemical dosing controllers.
  3. Inspect and Maintain Equipment: Monitor and Inspect the equipment of the RO plant such as UF- Feed / High Pressure / CIP / RC/MC Pumps, associated Electrical panels, instrumentation & Valves including pipe headers, storage tanks, chemical treatment equipment & Controls.
  4. Ensure Chemical Supply and Storage: Ensure and keep record for the adequate supply of chemicals, consumables and spares related to RO plant. Coordinate with third party (or) approved chemical treatment vendor for periodical analysis & chemical dosing rate adjustments.
  5. Coordinate with Plant Operators: Coordinate with plant operators to ensure flawless supply of water as per the demand.
  6. Log Operating Parameters: Log on operating parameters of the RO plant equipment's at the scheduled intervals by taking appropriate readings through HMI / SCADA.
  7. Ensure Safe Startup and Shutdown: Responsible to follow safe start up and safe shutdown of RO plant. Flushing out of RO membrane with RO permeate while stopping the plant.
  8. Report Abnormalities: Inform immediate supervisor about the abnormalities / malfunctions of the equipment found during the 24 x 7 operation.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or secondary / industrial training course in Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation / Chemistry
  • Experience: 2 years of experience in RO plant activities from GCC
  • Skills: Excellent command on technical and commercial aspects of RO systems, Computer literacy, Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications, Good communication and inter-personal skills
