About the Role

The Principal Project Architect will play a key role in overseeing architectural works, collaborating with architectural consultants, and ensuring seamless project execution.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Developing and implementing program goals, devising methods to achieve them, and acquiring in-depth knowledge of client objectives, contract terms, and project policies.
  2. Managing integrated works with multiple stakeholders and project partners, adhering to quality plans and procedures, and ensuring productivity.
  3. Overseeing the preparation of architectural concepts, drawings, specifications, and other materials suitable for procurement and construction purposes.
  4. Regularly interfacing with other disciplines and departments, following up on instructions and commitments associated with the program.
  5. Reviewing supplier material submittals, performing technical analyses, and serving as the primary interface with architectural consultants and construction contractors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent.
  • Considerable experience related to this class of work, or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • 12 years of related work experience with preferably comparable position in the GCC.
  • GCC experience is preferred.
  • Concept, detailed design, and tender document preparation experience desired, along with the ability to manage design and specialist consultants.
