Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled AV Technician to join our team at Ennismore. As an AV Technician, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining audio-visual equipment for live events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Preparation: Fetch and carry equipment, cables, and other necessary items to ensure a smooth event setup.
  • Location Setup: Assist in setting up event locations, including meeting rooms, and make any necessary adjustments.
  • Daily Task Management: Follow up on daily task lists to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • AV Equipment Operation: Set up, operate, and maintain sound and video equipment for live events.
  • Equipment Transportation and Installation: Transport, set up, and install AV equipment and audiovisual support tools, including speakers, monitors, cameras, and equipment racks.
  • Client Relationships: Develop strong relationships with clients to ensure smooth production and provide support to production or event coordinators.
  • Equipment Testing and Troubleshooting: Run tests on videos, audio, and signals, and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
  • Equipment Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on audio-visual equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Inventory Management: Perform inventory management on equipment, wiring, and accessories to ensure accurate tracking.
  • Equipment Disassembly and Storage: Disassemble equipment, wiring, and support tools in a safe manner and store them properly to prevent damage or accidents.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure. You will also need to have a strong understanding of audio-visual equipment and be able to troubleshoot technical issues.
