Job Description

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly experienced Process Engineering Team Lead to join our LNG Project Management team at Brunel International. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing process engineering knowledge, design, quality assurance, leadership, and expertise while supervising and administering Process team design in accordance with project deliverables and approved execution schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Direct the preparation and stewardship of Process engineering scope of work in contract, advising and recommending design procedures, processes deliverables, and alternative studies to optimize project cost and schedule.
  2. Maintain close liaison with members of the Engineering Team and alignment with the Engineering Manager on project engineering needs, objectives, and requirements.
  3. Ensure execution of work is technically aligned and in compliance with LNG Operations, Policies, Standards of Business Conduct, and LNG Project Management System.
  4. Manage Contractor's Process engineering activities, including validation of personnel numbers, qualifications, and experience, usage of appropriate design tools, and adherence to project objectives, requirements, specifications, standards, procedures, execution plans, and design verification processes.
  5. Assess and validate Contractor capability in providing all contract documents, progress measurement, and reporting, and recommend additional technical support to address gaps.
  6. Manage the technical attachments and scope descriptions to all fabrication and construction contracts and the timely delivery of all purchase orders.
  7. Lead the Masters Data Register (MDR), including creation and approval, and own the planning and scheduling of the Process deliverables to enable efficient project execution.
  8. Responsible for the Process engineering schedule and related milestones, providing data (narrative, charts, graphs, change management recommendations, and recovery plans to address any schedule delays) for monthly progress and stewardship reporting.
  9. Accountable for knowledge of and sharing previous lessons learned, capturing and communicating current lessons learned to support review teams and future projects.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
  2. Minimum of 8 years' experience as a senior Process Engineer with a broad knowledge of Engineering execution, including design standards, specifications, codes, safety criteria, onshore facilities design, construction, and operations.
  3. At least 5 years' experience with gas treating (Acid Gas removal, Sulfur Recovery, gas/condensate/water separation, water stripping, condensate stabilization).
  4. EPC detailed design experience with large O&G facilities.
  5. Commissioning and Start-up experience highly desirable.
  6. Excellent written and oral English skills.
  7. Strong organizational, planning, and coordination skills.
  8. Strong technical, prioritization, and management skills.
  9. Good communication, influencing, and interface skills.
  10. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs, Lotus Notes, etc.
  11. Great interpersonal skills.
