EPC-1 Machinery Manager for T&I Projects

We seek a seasoned T&I Engineering Professional to join our team as a Machinery Head - Utilities/Inlets EPC-1. This individual will be responsible for providing expert guidance on T&I engineering matters and ensuring that our EPC projects meet their objectives.

  • The ideal candidate will have over 20 years of experience in the field, with at least 10-15 years of demonstrated project management experience.
  • They should be well-versed in managing multiple T&I engineering and execution aspects, including offshore heavy lifts, pipeline, and cable installations, load-out and transportation.
  • Familiarity with float-over installation is desirable.
  • A strong track record of working with worldwide contractors, particularly those involved in Offshore projects, is essential.
  • The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on teamwork and the ability to interact within a PMT.
  • A deep understanding of stakeholder specifications and industry standards is required.

Responsibilities:

  • This role requires the provision of full function T&I engineering to EPC teams, ensuring that each project meets its objectives.
  • The successful candidate will provide core technical and execution expertise to ensure consistent and quality application of T&I systems, processes, and procedures.
  • They will offer demonstrable technical competency and experience to advise, make recommendations, and decisions as the Project Focal Point for T&I engineering.
  • This role involves managing the delivery of all Transport and Installation engineering scope based on Contractor installation vessels and barges, according to agreed schedules and budgets.
  • The successful candidate will review transportation and installation analysis, methods, and procedures from an engineering perspective, including heavy lifts, jacket launches, topside float-overs, pipeline, cable, umbilical crossings, post-installed risers, stalk-ons, free-span correction, pilling, load out, float on, float off, trenching, burial, beach pull, transpooling, and others.
  • They will validate deliverables associated with the transportation & installation engineering scope, including float-over scope, structural scope, naval architectural scope, pipeline & cables loadout, transportation, and installation analysis, and heavy lifts.
