Job Summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a highly skilled Senior Planning Engineer to join our Technical Planning & Engineering Technical - Centralized Planning Department in Doha, Qatar. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing specialized knowledge and team supervision for assigned planning functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Strategic Planning: Prepare and update yearly maintenance grounding requirements for heavy, light, and line maintenance checks to optimize individual check yields while considering known constraints.
  2. Work Scope Coordination: Compile, coordinate with Supply Chain and all stakeholders, and finalize heavy, light, and line maintenance work scope for accomplishment on Qatar Airways aircraft.
  3. Change Management: Coordinate all changes required to the work scope.
  4. Fleet Maintenance: Ensure Qatar Airways fleet is maintained within the approved AMP limits.
  5. Documentation and Compliance: Ensure timely issue of maintenance work packages, review of completed maintenance paperwork, and IT system update with compliance details.
  6. Incomplete Maintenance: Ensure necessary actions are taken for incomplete maintenance.
  7. Modification Planning: Develop detailed modification and component staggering plans for Qatar Airways fleet.
  8. Technical Review: Carry out technical review and feasibility study of first-time tasks (or complex tasks) to ensure effective implementation in Line/Base Maintenance.
  9. Campaign Management: Monitor and manage implementation of high profile/critical campaign modifications or tasks (mandatory modifications, software uploads, reliability modifications).
