Key Responsibilities- Provide Technical Assistance: Offer conventional technical assistance to field operations on low to moderate risk scopes of work to ensure compliance with applicable Federal, State, Local and/or company safety and health regulations.
- Apply Principles and Guidelines: Under general guidance, apply principles gained through formal education and significant work experience to support initiatives within assigned facilities.
- Analyze Workplace Activities: Analyze workplace activities and potential hazards to support initiatives within assigned facilities through review of work packages, walk downs, and observations.
- Function as a Generalist: Function as a generalist responsible for multiple Safety & Health (S&H) facets within assigned facilities.
- Formal Education: Possess a degree in a relevant field, such as occupational health and safety, environmental science, or a related field.
- Work Experience: Have significant work experience in a related field, with a strong understanding of safety and health regulations and guidelines.
- Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with employees, management, and external stakeholders.
