Main Responsibilities

  • Act as the On-Scene Commander in emergency situations to minimize harm to personnel, environment, and asset.
  • Lead a team of over 160 offshore personnel in the safe execution of operations, production, and maintenance activities across 10 platforms.
  • Ensure strict compliance with company policies and procedures, managing interfaces across at least 6 disciplines to deliver on short to mid-term business priorities.

Job Dimensions

  • NOC Offshore Field: Site B – Al Shaheen Field, including H & I satellites.
  • Reporting Relationships: OAM and other FOPs Entities; CEO, COO, and Internal Departments: Day-to-Day Operations As Required.

Activities

">
  • Manage real-time loss-elimination/loss-mitigation processes to ensure production/reinjection targets are met and volumes are optimized at field level (in conjunction with the Operations Center).
  • Ensure that planned maintenance, inspections, campaigns, projects, and workovers are carried out in accordance with company requirements to ensure asset integrity and production optimization.
  • Chair the daily Operations Coordination Meeting and monthly HSE committee meeting to ensure all personnel are aware of their safety and operational performance objectives.

Context and Environment

">
  • The OIM is responsible for balancing the constant demand for well-being of all personnel on board while delivering on competing business priorities with available resources.
  • Site B is an offshore environment with imposing limitations to work delivery.

Qualifications and Experience Required

">
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in any Engineering field or equivalent.
  • Industry Experience: Minimum 10 years' experience in O&G production operations.
  • Supervisory Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience leading leaders (Ops Team Lead or equivalent).
  • Management of Emergencies/Crisis Situations: Minimum 5 years' experience in this role.
