Job Summary:

EGEC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Manager to oversee the complete Finance and accounting function of the Firm. As the first point of contact in the Finance Department, this role will facilitate accurate and compliant recording, monitoring, reporting, and control of all invoices and payments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management: Responsible for the company's financial management, including all account reconciliations and reporting to necessary parties. Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
  • Financial Reporting: Summarize and prepare financial status and transactions reports, including a profit and loss statement, and other necessary reports.
  • Cash Flow Management: Responsible for cash flow management, including raising client invoices, handling account receivables, and regular follow-ups.
  • Payment Preparation: Responsible for payment preparation and payroll processing.
  • Financial Analysis: Prepare periodic financial analysis and reports, including revenue projections and forecasting expenditure.
  • Budgeting: Assist in preparing and monitoring budgets, and create a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) manual for accounting policy and regulations.
  • Compliance: Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures, and assist in annual audit preparations.
  • Investigation: Investigate and resolve audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance.
  • Coordination: Coordinate with various 3rd party firms, including banks, credit bureaus, and insurance companies, for business-related requirements.
  • Financial Maintenance: Perform monthly closings, maintenance of accounting files, and preparation/organization of various financial forms, reports, and financial analyses.
  • Compliance and Integrity: Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and integrity of financial data.
  • Advisory Role: Pro-actively advise management on matters, such as effective use of resources and assumptions underlying budget forecasts.
  • Quality and Business Development: Provide support and cooperation in regards to the Quality department requirements and Audits, as well as Business development and tenders management activities when requested.
