Job Overview:

The Qatar National Bank is seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate Investor Service Administration to join its team. This role involves providing exceptional investor services, including account maintenance, safekeeping of certificates and documents, preparation of reports, and record keeping of transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver timely investor services: Ensure seamless execution of custodian services, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  2. Log and escalate queries/problems: Record and address customer inquiries and internal department issues in a timely and effective manner.
  3. Provide accurate information: Supply external and internal auditors with precise data as required.
  4. Ensure safekeeping of investor documents: Safeguard critical investor documents and ensure their secure storage.
  5. Coordinate activities with Treasury, Investment & Trade Operations: Collaborate with relevant teams to receive source documents efficiently.
  6. Maintain the investor database: Update the investor database regularly to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  7. Update customer accounts: Accurately update customer accounts, calculate P&L, commissions, fees, and other related items under the direct supervision and review of the Head of Investor Services.
  8. Support supervisor in report preparation: Assist in preparing customer account reports and other reports as required by regulatory authorities and management.
  9. Comply with policies and procedures: Adhere to operational policies, document retention requirements, and security procedures.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor degree in Accounting or Banking & Finance: Hold a relevant degree and possess 5-7 years of experience in investment banking.
  • Sound knowledge and background in back office investment activities: Possess in-depth understanding of back office investment processes, including reporting, recordkeeping, and accounting.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills: Demonstrate strong English language proficiency, with Arabic language skills being an asset.
  • Possess strong knowledge of investment systems and software application skills: Proficient in MS Office and able to work with various investment systems.
  • Ability to work in diverse cultural backgrounds: Exhibit strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a multicultural environment.
  • Personal integrity and self-management: Show high levels of personal integrity, self-discipline, and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills: Possess excellent analytical and organizational abilities.
