As a Senior Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSE) Professional at Groupe GISMIC, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the well-being of personnel and the environmental sustainability of our industrial projects.
The ideal candidate will have more than 12 years of professional experience in a similar position, with an engineering degree or equivalent. This position requires exceptional leadership skills, as you will be responsible for managing and monitoring HSE training requirements and medical fitness to work of personnel on-site.
Main Responsibilities:
- Validate site HSE procedures to ensure alignment with project specifications, company management plans, contracts, and international standards.
- Coordinate HSE audits and inspections, overseeing the close-out of findings.
- Develop and implement HSE management systems, providing guidance to contractors based on extensive industry knowledge.
- Collaborate with contractors to achieve key performance indicators and promote a safety culture.
- Design and execute HSE training programs, including emergency response drills and exercises.
Requirements:
- More than 10 years of experience in a similar position.
- Engineering degree or equivalent.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
- Experience in developing and implementing HSE management systems.
