Key Accountabilities- Develop and maintain internal accounting policies and standard operating procedures to ensure compliance with QR accounting policies and procedures.
- Facilitate risk management processes and mitigate activities through trend analysis and impact modeling.
- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods for financial accounting and oversee month-end/year-end closing activities.
- Develop advanced financial models and conduct analysis using quantitative tools and techniques.
- Participate in the annual strategic planning process, encompassing industry and market trends, SWOT analysis, scenario analysis, and budgeting.
- Minimum 6 years of specialist experience in job-related field.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to analyze and interpret data, and present effectively.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information.
- Excellent command of English language.
- Good knowledge of internal finance systems and cost centre accounting.
- Strong analytical skills, with ability to review variances and understand business cycles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, MS Access, and Power Point, as well as Oracle Financials.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
