Key Responsibilities:
  • Support and guide EPC Management teams in delivering safe and successful completions of oil and gas projects.
  • Work in a project environment to create a culture that encourages everyone to contribute to their best ability every day.
  • Coordinate complex internal and external interfaces, including simultaneous operations.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely with PMT members.
  • Lead by example and demonstrate high integrity in all details, while being sensitive to multi-cultural differences and effective communications with individuals for whom English is a second language.
  • Interface with EPC Contractor, QC, OES, Operations, Contractors, and Completions Teams from Project areas, Turnover Team, and Walkdown Engineers.
  • Support and provide guidance to walkdown teams with schedule and execution of walkdowns, in line with project walkdown and punch list procedures.
  • Support EPC Contractor in ensuring System Completion procedures are followed by all parties.
  • Support EPC Contractor in ensuring certification database is up to date at all times, and provide support in case of deviations.
  • Support EPC System Completion with other department managers and staff members to solve any issues that may arise that impact completions and handover process.
  • Review and comment on Project Documents on behalf of COMPANY where applicable.
  • Support database review process in obtaining project information required to assist systemization of systems and sub-systems.
  • Support EPC Contractor in allocation of tags and QVDs according to contractor's scope of work and project priorities and milestones.
  • Support and participate in evaluation of MOC boundaries, to identify overlaps with sub-system boundaries and assist correct interface with certification process.
  • Support EPC Contractor in review of System Completion Database based on actual information loaded, system boundary diagrams, cable schedules, carry over work information, or any other detailed information if needed.
  • Support EPC Contractor in creation of Sub-System boundaries as and when required.
  • Provide support in consistency of Checksheet, Punch List, Exception, and Readiness reports.
  • In case of lack of resources, support EPC Contractor walkdown engineers.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree beneficial, but not required. Leadership roles within the industry will be taken into consideration.
  • Minimum 15+ years of experience in oil and gas industries, preferably offshore project related and working within a multicultural team.
  • Minimum of 5+ years within a Systems Completion Team in Major projects is a requirement. Proven project management and execution experience, specifically extensive knowledge of procedures, rules, and regulations of Qatar, will be an added advantage.
  • Experience with Project Execution related environment with broad experience of projects, engineering, and systems completion.
  • A strong understanding of project management principles and familiarity with industry standards and practices related to completions and commissioning.
  • Candidate shall have sufficient onshore and offshore execution experiences; preferably past experiences as Completions Lead, and able to demonstrate strong leadership and provide overall guidance with respect to overseeing a contractor.
  • Detailed knowledge in system completions and digital applications System Completion software.
  • Experience of working in Asian yards (in particular Chinese yards) would be a benefit. Able to work within a multicultural team and provide past experiences.
  • Demonstrated ability and sensitivity to work with people from a variety of cultural backgrounds.
  • Good communication and influencing skills. Excellent written and oral English skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience of system completion management systems.
  • Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities.
  • Make decisions in the general interest while pursuing business results.
  • Willing and able to travel as required.
