Job Title: Master Captain

Minor International is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Master Captain to join our team at Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara. As a Master Captain, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our luxury watercraft, ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Anticipate and meet the needs of our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring their safety and security.
  • Oversee the preparation and cleanliness of the vessel prior to departure, ensuring it is in pristine condition.
  • Responsible for the navigation and safe handling of the vessel, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Train and monitor the progress of the crew, ensuring they are equipped to handle any situation that may arise.
  • Ensure the vessel is fully bunkered with fresh water and fuel at all times, and manage the discharge of black water in accordance with environmental protection policies.
  • Report any unsafe acts or near misses to management, and enforce safe practices including a no-smoking policy.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in marine operations and watercraft management.
  • Proven track record of ensuring guest safety and satisfaction.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
